Founder Lizzie is a professional dog trainer and runs the successful Kent-based dog walking and training academy Leading Paws. Alongside friend and business partner, Claire, she set up Here Comes the Hound in 2019 after spotting a niche in the wedding market after several clients asked for help in involving their dog in their wedding.

“Lizzie looked after our dog Mochi at our wedding. Mochi is our world and it meant everything to us knowing that we could have her there and not have to worry about her.
“She was also our ring bearer and Lizzie was able to orchestrate the whole thing with help from our venue staff. Mochi ran down the aisle at the perfect moment. She helped Mochi greet guests, pose for photos and kept her occupied and hydrated. When it was time for the wedding breakfast, Mochi had an overnight stay at Lizzie’s and was dropped back to us at our hotel the day after.

“Lizzie was superb from start to finish. Our dog, Koda, is a bit nervous so we were a bit sceptical about having him at our wedding and was originally going to try and photoshop him into pictures! We first spoke to Lizzie at a supplier day and we immediately felt comfortable and knew this is something we wanted to do.
“She came and met Koda before the big day to make sure what was best for him. She was fantastic on the day as well and he listened to her more than he does to us! We upgraded our package to the overnight stay and could not recommend Lizzie and Here Comes the Hound highly enough. Thank you!”

"Who knew dog chaperoning was a thing, but we are so glad we found Lizzie and Claire for our wedding. They looked after our 2 boisterous labradors and it meant we just didn't have to worry. They were looked after, entertained and there when we needed them with the rings.

“Lizzie was super helpful from the get-go, right from the initial enquiry, all the way to post-wedding texts. We initially struggled to find a local company to help with getting our dog to our wedding but Lizzie was able to help even though our wedding wasn’t quite in her neighbourhood.
